How Public Record Hub Works
Public records are usually managed by county and state offices, or by authorized vendor platforms they use. Public Record Hub helps you get to the right place faster with official sources first, clear steps, and helpful FAQs.
The simple path: State → County → Record Type
1) Choose a state
Start by browsing the state you need. State pages list every county we have for that state.
2) Pick a county
County pages show the most common record types available for that county.
Tip: If you do not know the county, start with Search .
3) Open the record type page
Record pages include official links, how-to-search steps, and FAQs.
This is where you will usually find the best starting links for that specific record type.
Official vs external portals
Some counties host records directly on official government websites. Others use trusted vendors for online access, including court systems, GIS platforms, jail rosters, assessor search tools, and similar portals. On record pages, we label sources so you know what you are clicking.
